2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000

The 2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000 is a spin off from the GSX-R 750, that was first developed some twenty nine years ago, and is still available in the market today. The GSX-R1000 continues with the Suzuki philosophy established all those years ago. Given that Suzuki spun the R1000 from the GSX-RR, they will share the same engine and features albeit with minor differences. The engine will based on the foundations of its predecessors in the GSX series. However, it will have more aggressive engineering specifications that will make it a game changer in the market.

The 2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000, will have a light weight chassis, that was developed to increase the motorcycle‘s agility and also make it more comfortable an fun for the rider. The bike is mounted with state of the art suspension system. These are the KYB 43mm front shocks that have 120mm stroke. The rear shocks will have a 63mm stroke. The main frame of the bike will be lighter because of its aluminum alloy composition. The braking system will be composed of 310 mm Brembo, dual discs with four opposite pistons that are 32 mm. The bike is going to be mounted with ENKEI wheels, which will be 6 spoke and will be cast with light weight aluminum, they will also be paired with radial tyres from Dunlop. The bike will have an upright riding position, that is made possible by the seat height of 32 inches, which is low.

The 2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000, will be coming with a 999cc engine that will have four strokes. On top of that, it will be liquid cooled. The engine will have well aligned injection system, that will boast Suzuki’s flagship technology, the SDTV. The engine will be mounted with iridium spark plugs that will increase combustion efficiency and thus in turn, multiply power output. This will also ensure a smoother engine start up. The camshaft has been redesigned to increase efficiency in valve timing. The R1000 will feature state of the art Suzuki traction system. This system enables the rider to have more control over the throttle. The system closely monitors the front and rear wheel speeds to reduce wheel spin. The system is calibrated to have three modes. The first mode (1) has the least sensitivity and is reserved for the very skilled riders. The second mode (2) has medium sensitivity and is for average riders. The third mode (3) has the least sensitivity and is reserved for the unskilled riders or novices.

The 2016 Suzuki GSX-R1000 release date has not been determined yet, but rumor has it that it may be late 2015. The price for this motor cycle has also not been determined.
