2016 Suzuki Hayabusa

Suzuki is well known for their high performance motorcycles. That is no exception in one of their newest upcoming models, the 2016 Suzuki Hayabusa. Early rumors indicate this newly upgraded bike is sure to please Suzuki fans and maybe even pull in a few followers of other brands. The new upgrades have been a long time coming, but rumors are flying that the release of the 2016 Suzuki Hayabusa is just around the corner.

2016 Suzuki Hayabusa Specs

The first Hayabusa hit the market in 1999 and saw some significant upgrades in both 2007 and 2013. This motorcycle has traditionally featured a 1340 cc four stroke, four cylinder engine that was attached to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of producing more than 180 HP of power and 132 Nm of torque. The 2016 model will likely feature an upgrade that will allow the Hayabusa to compete with the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, which is currently the fastest accelerating bike in the world.

Suzuki is likely to leave the ABS and Brembo brake calipers on this newest model, allowing for safe stopping even at high speeds. The Hayabusa is a bit more beefy than other bikes in the Suzuki line, and the muscle bound style probably won’t change.

The 2016 Suzuki Hayabusa was designed specifically to be masculine looking. This design, originally created by Koji Yoshiura, was originally intended to mirror the developed biceps, forearms and calves of the individuals strong enough to control this large and powerful bike. Strong lines and heavy curves will continue to make this a motorcycle that stands out on the road. Despite its larger size, this is a power bike designed for speed and performance.

2016 Suzuki Hayabusa Price

One thing that many people have mentioned is the likelihood that Suzuki will issue some safety upgrades in this model and will find a way to channel power more efficiently. The 2016 Suzuki Hayabusa line already gets an impressive 41 miles per gallon on average, beating out other high powered bikes like the Kawasaki Ninja, which only sees about 36 miles per gallon.

No specific launch data has been set yet, though it is expected that the bike will be released to coincide with the release of the GSX-S1000. Rumors have it being released in Canada sometime towards 2016. The price has not been released yet, but it is expected to be inline with the manufacturers suggested retail price of $15,199 from the other Hayabusa models. This powerful bike is one that is sure to get a lot of attention when it is eventually unveiled.
